Hi Mama! I’m Lauren, proud mama to a growing little guy who keeps me on my toes and feeling thankful every day. I’m a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience working in Inpatient Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, NICU, and the Postpartum floor. In the past 2 years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to assist in developing Soul2Soil syntropic learning community, for children ages 5-15.

Think of me when it comes to all things “natural mama & baby”!

After overcoming many struggles at the beginning of our breastfeeding journey, I wanted to help other mamas achieve their breastfeeding goals and be a source of support and solidarity when they felt alone in their struggles. So—I became a certified Lactation Educator.

We finally figured out our path with breastfeeding, and then my sweet little baby would not sleep! Exhausted and overrun with hormonal frustration, I couldn’t enjoy my little guy the way I had always dreamed I would. I didn’t ask for help because I was afraid I would be pressured to wean, and that was not something I was ready to do. So, I decided to figure it out on my own and became a certified Sleep Consultant so that I could share what I learned.

I am beyond excited to offer the full range of my accumulated skills, knowledge, experience and intution in session-based packages. My clients can rest easy knowing that I will fully support their natural motherhood journey in my commitment to guide them into successful breastfeeding & weaning, as well as get them the sleep and peace of mind they so desperately desire along the way.

Lactation & Lullabies was born not only out of my own struggles as a new mom, but also from my desire to help other mamas like you.

We’re in this together.

Starfish Symbolism

To me, the beautiful starfish so perfectly encapsulates the qualities of conscious motherhood, and the role I empower you to take in your family. Across time & cultures it’s come to symbolize :

Love and Guidance: When the starfish appears in your life, it’s often seen as a messenger of love from the Universe. It stands for inspiration and guidance, helping you navigate through life's challenges.

Regeneration and Renewal: The starfish has an amazing ability to regenerate its limbs and even its entire body. This makes it a powerful symbol of healing and renewal.

Balance and Harmonious Flow: The starfish's shape, reminiscent of a star, has been significant for thousands of years, representing sacred movement and flow. It encourages balance in our lives, reminding us that not everything is as it appears on the surface.

Divine Love & Abundance: The starfish is often associated with the Virgin Mary, symbolizing her loving guidance. It's also linked to the miracle of the Feeding of the Five Thousand, thereby representing divine love and infinite abundance.

Resilience and Adaptability: Starfish are incredibly resilient and adaptable creatures, able to withstand harsh conditions and thrive in a variety of environments. This symbolizes our own ability to adapt to life's changes and overcome adversity.

The starfish encourages you to trust in your intuition and follow your unique path. It reminds you of your potential for growth, healing, and transformation.
